For those of you who knew Freddy Perry, whom worked and volunteered at any number of organizations, as a paid employee, consultant and or volunteer, passed away Monday evening in Charlotte of a sudden and quick moving illness.

Feddy was involved originally with the Seashore Trolley Museum in Maine, beginning as I understand it, back in the early to mid 1950's. He had since moved onto other ventures at the Nation Park in Lowell Mass., St Louis (both the museum of transport and the public transit system), The Old Threaser's in Iowa, IRM just to name a few.

Freddies time and service, as well as his knowledge was always given generously to the museums and transit authority's he was dealing with.

He and his vast knowledge of electric cars will be very seriously missed.

All of us who have connections with the Museum of Transportaton in St. Louis will miss Fred. He worked hard to help MOT get its trolley operation going, and even when he was away he kept our needs in mind. When one operation rejected some steel trolley poles for some minor reason we were able to get them at fire sale prices to replace some of our wooden poles. RIP Fred.
