Post subject:  Marion Belt and Chingawasa Springs Railroad

New information thanks to Hume Kading. Hume referred me to a site which led to Kansas City. KC had an elevated railroad back in the 1880's which used 16 steam dummy locomotives and 35 passenger cars. This was just like the MB&CS RR, one steam dummy and two cars. The possibility of hte MB&CS having acquired a set is still open, but a photo shows the cars had the same number of windows, but slightly different window spacing. The other huge new clue is that it was St Charles Car Works that built the cars for the KC Elevated Road and 99% certain that the MB&CS cars came from St Charles as well.

Also have a new picture of the other of the two passenger cars owned by the MB&CS. It later became the Owl Diner. The photo is a excellent, mostly side view. If someone can tell me how I can post it, I will. Otherwise, I can get it to Hume for working into a future publication.

Cheers!
