And I thought I was the only one up this late (EDT, that is)! Nice photos. Was it the 35 or 36 that was displayed at Bear Creek on the Graham County? Where did it wind up? |

We had the 36 at Bear Creek and it went to Cass under private ownership. I think it is still there but may now be owned by the state. John Bohon |

John is right.. it left SR ownership via private ownership and has since been transferred to the state. Jim |

The 35 was at TVRM and went to California so I assume it is the engine now at Solstice Tree Farm. I could easily be wrong. John Bohon |

The 35 is at SilverBend Farm outside of Sacramento CA. They operate two 0-4-0Ts there on a large loop of track by the Pumkin Patch. The Shay is taken apart, boiler is by the shed, and tank and one of the trucks out behind the engine shed along with an old wood coach and rail auto... not sure where the rest is.... I have heard the mechanical shape of the locomotive was poor and the restoration put on hold, but that is 3rd hand.... john |
