Circa 1910. This ex-Boston & Maine branch in New Hampshire would become a tourist RR in the early-1970s, but was short lived. I think the last mile or so of track into Wolfeboro was removed after operations finally ceased and is now a hiking trail. The rest of the route east to Sanbornville (state-owned) is intact and used by motorcars of the Cotton Valley Rail Trail group. There are several other postcards from this branch on eBay if you use their search feature. http://cgi.ebay.com/Wolfeboro-NH-railro ... otohosting |
