Hello Folks, I'm new to the RyPN discussion board here, but I'm looking for some information regarding the disposition of the Milwaukee Road Caboose # 01265 (Formerly at North Lake WI, Kettle Moraine Railway). I have been told that it is in the Janesville area, but need a better location. Thank you in advance, Tim |

Hi Tim, At the time the KMR equipment was being sold and scattered, I was told that the MILW 01265 was sold to a woman from Madison, WI, to be used by her as a real estate sales office. I know the car sat in North Lake, WI, for quite some time and I finally heard that she had problems with Madison over zoning issues and gave up on the idea of moving the caboose there. A year or so ago I heard "it might have gone to northern Illinois". Did it? I certainly don't know, but I'd like to! Happy Hunting, Roger |
