Some of you may have caught a news item this week. The health of Americans was the topic--some past studies had pointed out that Americans were not as healthy as those in other countries.

A flaw in many of these studies had been that they studied Americans--which didn't take into account that some Americans because of their ancestory and race were more prone to certain diseases/conditions (Tongan-Norwegians are few and far between, if you catch my drift).

The study cited this week compared white american males to their counterparts in the British Isles--result? the Brits were overall healthier.

Given the land area and population density, could it be because there is more Railway Preservation per capita and per square foot over there than there is here in the US? Is there? I'd like to think that I'll live a longer, healthier life for the day a week I volunteer at Heber.
