The website for this UK 10 1/4-inch line has added some short video clips that are nice. In addition to their British locomotives (all based on standard gauge prototypes), they have an NYC Niagara and an NKP Berkshire. The railway was begun as a private venture in 1957 and fell into disrepair after the death of its owner. A Friends group revived it in the 1990s. At one time, they also had two large scale model ocean liners operating on their lake, but these were apparently later scrapped. http://www.fsmr.org.uk/ |
