I think the loco being moved is from the St. Louis and Iron Mountain. This is the "Mixed Train Daily" engine we all were discussing a month ago, which ran on the old Augusta Railroad. Hopefully she's going to a good home. We need to know where she's going

Post subject:  Augusta RR engine? Bet you're right!

I bet you're right! @##$%!! it!, I'm an old Arkansas shortline Railroader and I'm ashamed of myself that i didn't think about the dinky mogul. Hope the little gal's going to a good home.

By the way, what's going on with Okmulgee Northern#5, Tommy. Wasn't she with some Kansas or Missouri group for sale, too?

Okmulgee Northern 2-8-0 #5 (Tommy) is the property of the Belton, Grandview & Kansas City Railroad, a museum line operating out of Belton, Missouri. I visited the line in 1999 and was sad to see the current condition of #5. I sent a letter to the museum asking of their plans for the 2-8-0 (and also of a former Frisco Russian Decapod that was on the property), but never received a reply. I will try to include some pictures of the Consolidation with this posting.
