| Post subject: | Wilton Scenic RR -- will it run this season? |
We have seen an article in the Nashua and Manchester papers indicating that there is a party interested in running the tourist trains this season, in spite of the fact that the original owner's family had indicated they were not interested, and had put the two RDCs up for sale. Has anyone heard anything more about this. It would be a shame to abandon the operation after Mr. Draper had put so much time and money into rehabbing the line. Plus he had lots of reservations already made for charters and other trips this season before his death in January. Seems like it would be a natural for someone to pick up and run with. |
