Hey kev-
Sounds like your wearing out that new roundhouse foreman of yours! How's that track you guys salvaged from the ex-PM/ C&O yard here?

Just about half used up. We are actually done laying track for the year. When do I get to see your face in Owosso. I got a wrench with your name on it.

Seeing "Owosso" reminded me of something. Can any of you guys up there tell me what happened to the RS-3M (TDIX 106, IIRC) that was on a tourist line up there? Doing some RS-3M research-

I am not sure where it currently is, but when it was being moved, it passed through the CSX Selkirk shops. A buddy that works there took some pics and posted it on another board last year when it was in selkirk. Found it pretty cool that it sat next to SRI, and then a buddy in new york found it in the yard and took pics of it.

EDIT: I think it was headed for New Haven, CT.

The REAL RS-3 long at Owosso (#1508, the one with an ALCO engine in it), not an ersatz "chevy"-powered RS-3M, was sold to Railroad Museum of New England in June 2005, and was moved in June-July 2005 via CSX through Toledo, Selkirk and Springfield to RMNE's home in Connecticut.

1508 was originally Boston & Maine 1508, built 1954.

The RS-3M that EDM is searching for was not in the Owosso yard last Memorial Day weekend during our inspection of 1508.
