I see that SP 2-8-2 #745 is under steam and travelling around again. Is the locomotive still being towed sans rods or do they have the bearing problem(s) squared away? Frederick G. Bailey |

From what I understand, the bearing problem has been fixed. Also, I heard that there will be a public trip using private cars behind the 745 from KC to New Orleans in August. |

Is SP 745 still in KC on display? Has she run or moved under her own power since arriving there? |

It's still on display up there, but it was recently moved to Liberty, MO for display, I think. It will visit one other town in Missouri, I'm not sure where. I think BNSF and KCS have been towing the engine, but it is under steam. |
