Saw this on the Rock Island Technical Society's list:

The steam engines should arrive in Rock Island betwen June 15 - 30 if all goes well. They will be tested by the FRA and then pull a train in order to be certified. We will then take them to Newton for storage. Initial plans are to operate a train about mid-September between Rock Island and Bureau.

The original announcement mentioned transport on flat cars. I haven't seen any mention of which railroad will haul them.

Coaches? The announcement says "train," not "passenger train."
