Has anyone here ever looked into making up Pyle headlight lenses like pictured here on WP 89? I believe they were Pyrex? Would making up the spherical lense be possible for a reasonable cost or should some Museums just not worry about going that far?

I have a friend that does custom glass blowing for laboratories and industrial consumers, they might be able to do something like that
