Post subject:  French narrow gauge photos

Some 162 photos here of a 60 cm line in northern France. Now operated by volunteers as an excursion railway, it was built during WWI to supply the front and later used to transport beets to a local sugar factory. Some nice photos if you have the time to look.

This appears to be a neat little operation especially when it was one of those "narrow gauges to no-man's land."

It's a shame, however, that the photographer forgot all his lenses at home except for his telephoto one.

Geez!
