Those locomotives looked pretty worn back in the 1950's. |

Which is why the railroad had a huge stash of spare parts, including new drivers, new flues, a new rough-and-unmachined cylinder saddle casting, etc.--all of which went to the Leap property along with the locos, and most of which was supposedly included in the sale to the West Va. RR Museum. Hey, don't tell me I won't find some car parts in your garage you haven't yet gotten around to installing........... |

WOW! What a great find. I hope the new owners can put the parts to good use. Maybe there is enough to get both of these old girls back in steam. |
