General Electric 95-ton end cab units did not visually differ from GE's 70-ton end cabs, with only the addition of 25 tons of steel plate accounting for the difference in the units. While there were 238 of the 70-ton units delivered to the U.S., Canada and Mexico, GE only built 47 of the heavier 90-ton units. Our museum has a 95-ton unit which was originally built in 1952 for Interlake Iron (later Interlake Steel and Acme Steel). We know that there are a number of the lighter 70-ton units still in existance, with a number of them still being used, but we are trying to find out how many other 95-ton units are still in existance besides ours.

Thanks for any help that can be offered.
