As noted in the write up, Hank Ketcham was responsible for the design of the park. The people in the little community of Oro Grande, California, (near Victorville) copied the design of the park for one in their own community. Oro Grande's park also got a steam locomotive -- Union Pacific 2-8-2 #2725, now at Orange Empire. |
