To all folks planning to attend: the number of available rooms at the convention HQ, the Holiday Inn in Salisbury, NC, has now dwindled to the point that I am compelled to pass along overflow information to you. Below is the contact info for two establishments very close by offering special rates for the convention. So, if you cannot get into the HI, try one of these. Best Western: $49.00 + tax (excludes suites) 820 Klumac Road I-85 Exit 76 (704) 633-5777 Hampton Inn: $69.00 + tax 1001 Klumac Road I-85 Exit 76 (704) 637-8000 http://visitsalisburync.com Wrinnbo@aol.com |

> Ah, you put butter and sugar on them. That > is the way I like grits. Butter, lots of pepper, and a soft egg yoke from one of your over easy eggs does the trick. Up here in the great PNW I miss the cuisine of Texas, which includes BBQ and Tex Mex. Railway Preservation News hkading@rypn.org |
