Any ideas when they intend to fire these beast up and let them roam the corn fields? I would be interested in driving up to catch them on the prowl! -Joe |

I just noticed that the journal box/spring arrangment on the tender is very similiar to that of a dash 8 and dash 9. I would be courious to know if the design used on the newer state side loco's was inspired by a foriegn design or if it was dreamed up from scratch. |

I understand that there is still work to be done to the locomotives. By example the steam and air gauges need to be changed from the metric system used in China to ones calibrated in our English system. |
