White Pass trains quit running to Whitehorse, YT in 1982, and only a few have operated since then, but the unused 40-plus miles of the north end remains intact, with a few changes inside the city limits to accommodate waterfront development. Earlier this year a maintenance crew did some work there, using one of the WP&Y "Casey" motorcars.
