The pictured caboose was recently donated to the Slaton Railroad Heritage Society (see their website at http://rypn.org/srha/). They are looking for help identifying the railroad and date of the caboose for accurate restoration. They were told the caboose was built in the early 1900s and used on the Ft. Worth & Denver.

People with information may post here or contact Tony Privett at tprivett@cox.net or both.

Hi,

I don't know what caboose this is, but it's in Slaton, TX.

FWD had this style caboose, see p. 37 in the '73 BN Annual.
