Next week TechSoup will have a one day offering of GrantStation for $90 each. Has anyone in the non-profit railroad and/or historic preservation field succesfully used GrantStation to seek applicable grantmakers? Here is its description:

Besides GrantStation, what resources do you recommend to find grantmakers in our fields of interest?

If how slow the Techsoup web site was this morning is any indication, GrantStation @ $90 must be selling like gangbusters. I've ordered a copy, but I have no previous experience with grantmaker seeking tools like this. If it turns out to be a treasure trove of grant sources, I'll let you know. At this price its hard to go wrong.

I also signed up this morning and noticed how slow it was. My feeling is it will let us find opportunities we otherwise would not know about - now all we have to do is win one!
