Taken in 2003 and probably gone now. Said to be ex-CP (Milwaukee?).

Bob:

Seeing this photo makes me wonder, have any "as-built" cow and calf units (both units) been saved in any museums?

Western Maryland BL-2 #81 and her calf WM138T, are together at the B&OMuseum in Baltimore. 138T was a former S2. They were not mated at birth, but worked together in the Hagerstown yard for many years.

Actually, 138T was built using the frame from WM 102, the very first diesel locomotive on the Western Maryland, an S1.

Actually it is a TR-6, 8 clyinder, ex Oliver Mining. Yes it is scrapped. I have it's 2 sisters sitting out back. Better looking but being used for parts. They may be turned into slugs in the upcoming months. No one wants B-units anymore.
