The Nevada Commission for the Reconstruction of the V&T is soliciting proposals for operators on the reconstructed portion of the V&T between Gold Hill and Carson City. This includes the portion of the railroad that was rebuilt over the Overman Pit last year. This does not include the existing V&T, which remains an operation owned by the Grays.

Qualifications for prospective operators are due by August 21. The Phase II business plans from qualified proposers are currently scheduled to be due October 20.
