I'm looking for any images anyone might have or have come across of the two subject locomotives.

For the SP 20, we're looking for any images of her as she was rebuilt for the LA Union Passenger Terminal dedication in 1939 up to her delivery to Travel Town.

For the Conrock 1, we really need some images of her prior to coming to Travel Town, preferrably in service.

We're trying to recreate some of their woodwork such as windows and doors as well as identify what kind of missing hardware such as headlights and bells we need to try and acquire.

The CSRM collection of Gerald Best photos at Sacramento might have the SP 20, maybe the Conrock also. I haven't run across any yet on the internet. Someone would probably have to make the trip up there, but you could try the museum foundation by email first.

The 20 is probably one of the last steam "dummies" in existence in the US, albeit without it's streetcar body. Wouldn't it be great to see it restored back to it's MSRy appearance with the carbody and trailing truck, back tootling down Market Street in San Francisco. That would freak a few people out.

I would assume it still has it's lap-seam boiler?

From the quick look we took inside the steam dome last Saturday, it certainly appears to still have its original lap seam boiler.

It still has it's air compressor, two safety valves, the throttle valve and the bulk of its steam and duplex air gage. It is missing it's whistle, bell, injectors and any headlights it might have had post 1939. Can't tell if it had a turbo generator. Has a straight air indenpendent valve, but does not appear to ever have had a automatic valve. At least not post the 1939 rebuild.

There is no wood remaining, and trying to determine what it had post 1939 is of course the reason for the original post. :-)
