This Saturday the East Broad Top will hold its annual Community Appreciation Day.
Vendors, speeder rides tours, photo displays and other special events will take place during the event. FEBT Rockhill Furnace Restoration Crew will be performing restoration work during the day. Also, the M-3 motorcar, fresh from an FEBT restoration, will be unveiled during the event. Details on the event are available at the railroad's Community Appreciation Day 2005 Page.

Be sure to catch the M-3 during its first operation in over 30 years (public rides will not be offered.)

I was lucky enough to see the M-3 running around the yard when I was a kid in the sixties. I never thought I would see it run again. Sometimes it is nice to be wrong.
