saw it posted over on the Altamont Forum. One of the posters there posted the history http://www.shaylocomotives.com/data/lima3354/sn-3254.htm Also the running thought there (on Altamont) is that this is apparantly one of the Fred Kepner Locomotives that is being sold off for the 'storage fees' by the owner of the storage location (history points out that the ownership is "in dispute" ). Note that your money doesn't get you the tender which is stored elsewhere. sc 'doc' lewis |
