Hello all, I suspect that the second car in this train is a coach or some configuration of coach/parlor/lounge. Does anybody here know its current disposition and what its configuration was? Tom Cornillie http://railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=156945 |

This is just a guess, but based on appearances, I'm guessing it's a former B&O heavyweight, possibly in the 3400/3500 series. Compare with 3587 at the B&O Railroad Museum. |

Hello all, I received a nice PM pointing me to this site: http://www.smv.org/Exhibits/CarONE.html RF&P 20 and One may be the sole surviving pair of office cars from the breif time period where railroads tried to devise methods for using steam heat on a small scale, independently of locomotives. Most other steam generator cars have since been scrapped and the office cars converted to AC HEP. Tom Cornillie |
