You have to join the Omaha_CoBluffs_Railfan Yahoo Group to see these, but there are some recent photos of the old Chicago Great Western roundhouse and backshop at Oelwein, Iowa here: http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/o ... ssage/5972 Roundhouse turntable is gone, replaced by a maze of switches, but I do not know if they were replaced by the CGW, CNW or the current occupant, Transco. There are also a few photos of the rail museum in Oelwein. |
