Save for an N.C.&StL boxcar that is stored at an industrial mover's yard in Louisville, all of the equipment is now at the KRM. When I lived in Kentucky, and was more active, the second to last piece of equipment came, a 45 ton GE switcher. The company was a great asset to the museum during the original move to New Haven, and he was allowed to use the locomotive for a number of years at his business. Last time I drove to Louisville, you could see the boxcar and a Pllman-Standard Amtrak coach from I-64 just west of downtown Louisville. |
