Post subject:  Altoona Table Operational

Our table is functional in Altoona and as a result, much of our rolling stock is back in the yard on live rail. The table was originally "tested" by moving our 250 ton derrick into place along with its idler car. This was followed by:

Loretto - Charles Schwab's private car - a 1917 Pullman built piece.

Robert E. Hannegan - the only named RPO in the PRR fleet.

K4 Tool Car - a converted PRR BM70nb.

Horseshoe Curve Boxcar - car commemorating the 150th Anniversary of Horseshoe Curve.

Nancy - a Vulcan 0-4-0 that was the last operational steamer in Blair County PA

Jacks Narrows - Loewy designed, Pullman built boat-tail observation streamliner used on the Spirit of St. Louis.

Harbor Springs - Loewy designed, Pullman built mid-train lounge used on the Broadway Limited.
