As in past years Steve Barry, the managing editor of Railfan Magazine will be conducting a night photo shoot after the night train Saturday evening at the 2001 EBT Fall Spectacular, October 6, 2001. Only 35 slots are available for photograhers. You MUST have:

A manual capable camera capable of bulb exposure, fixed appeture and flash deactivation
A tripod for your camera

As of October 1st there are still 21 slots open and the EBT will not benefit nearly as much if we cannot fill all the slots.

Several large strobe packs are used to light up the subject for photographers during long exposures. There are usually about three to four setups with two to four exposures per setup. The EBT postitions the equipment specifically for the setups.

All funds go to the EBT or toward crew tips for EBT employees. If all slots sell, $1000 will go to the EBT and $225 to crew tips for their work above and beyond the call of duty.

Steve Barry will be selling slots on site at the Orbisonia Depot between 6:15 and 6:45 p.m. October 6 and after the evening train returns. The shoot will begin 10 minutes after the night train returns. If you are interested in attending or plan to attend, please drop him an e-mail at steve@daylightimages.com so he can firm up plans.
