According to a post on Railroad.net, the Tyburn Railroad is looking to giveaway its ex Northampton & Bath, nee Lehigh & New England wooden SUF caboose.

A sister car is under restoration at New Hope, PA. Like #102, she's had her cupola removed, but it is being rebuilt. [url]http://www.nhrrvolunteers.org/NHRRCaboose.html

And yes, these #57X cars are sisters to the one we discussed earlier in the year that is up in MA.

Who might have a home with a good carpentry shop? Anyone down in Lancaster County or up in Lackawana County?

"Does anyone want Northampton & Bath caboose 102, probably built by Magor Car Co. in 1930, possibly for the Lehigh & New England? It has 4-3/4 x 8 journals.
It's now on Tyburn RR at Fairless, Pa. (across the river from Trenton, N.J.). It was moved from N&B on a large tilt bed truck of about 43,000 lbs. capacity. After trying for many years to sell it, TYBR's management suddenly wants to get rid of it.

Well, this should certainly throw in interesting facet into the answer to Sandy's inquiry. Cabeese are worth whatever anybody will give for the one in question at the time in question.
