Is there anything (other than cost & paperwork) to prevent a chapter from either the NRHS or R&LHS from joining the other society and thus function as a "dual" chapter in both organizations? Any benefit from this? Any large, well-recognized chapters doing this? Thanks in advance, Matt Bumgarner |

I don't know of any that are. I would hope however that if they were to do something like this they could arrange it so that they would only have to hold one business meeting, not two. Some groups meetings use up half of the program time allowance on late starts, officers speeches, reports, long winded announcements, news and current events, and the pre-program break. If they were to go to two business meetings they might just as well forget about hosting programs altogether. |
