Here, a Ye class Decapod (WWI version) in 1936 at what is now Belogorsk:

Interesting to see what the non-Americanized versions looked like in service.

Also, this five foot gauge S160, of WWII vintage, undated:

All found on this interesting site, though some of the links no longer work. There are a number of photos of plinthed locomotives on static display, and one of a 2-6-2 being installed on its raised plinth.

Bob,

Having difficulty finding the URL for the site you mention in your post on Russian steam locomotives. Can you tells how you found it thanks ??

Love your submissions to RYPN (to add my voice to the praise you've already received elsewhere), keep up the good work.

I'm not positive, but I think I ran across it on this site:

Good luck searching.

Thanks Bob,

Pretty certain this would be the one, but with 1700 odd pages (!!), I'll be stuck at the keyboard for a while. Some really interesting stuff here.....

Much appreciated

Certainly lots to see on that site. Here's another S160, undated photo:

Also lots of locomotives on plinthed displays. It's interesting to see how they are holding up, though most have not been on display nearly as long as those in North America.

Apparently five-foot gauge?:

And check out this transporter, probably a military vehicle?

Or this derelict 4-8-4, in Barry-like conditions:

And this Ye-class WWII Decapod, in good shape at St. Petersburg:
