I have nothing on the Chicago or Chinese injector. Your question about feedwater heaters is to broad. I would spend a lot of time at the copy machine if I were to send you all I have on those things. What do you need to know about which heater?

Way to broad of a question. What do you specifically need to know? I do know for a fact that the Worthington feedwater system info is already in the hands of the 2926 mechanical dept. The Santa Fe folio is in the 2926 reference library and that contains information on the Chicago T60 and T100 injectors. Perhaps you should ask the 2926 CMO your questions.

I am sorry that I was not specific enough with my question. I am looking for anything on the operation and trouble shooting of a feed water system. In short some kind of operators manual from the manufacturer. I tried with no avail Google for either Worthington feedwater heater or Chicago injectors. I have found an small exploded diagram of a T100 in an ATSF engineman's manual from the mid 40's. It is not labeled as such, but considering that is pretty much all the ATSF ran, it is a safe bet. I was hoping that someone here might have something from either manufacturer on their product.
As I have a little more time free, I hope to dive into the locomotive folio a bit more. Thanks for your responses.

Could you fill us in on the plans for ATSF 2926? Will it be operated, and if so, where?

I have a copy of the operation and trouble shooting for the Worthington SA6. I will send a copy to Ken Dussenberry, CMO with the 2926. You can borrow it from him.

The Chicago T60 and T100 have identicle bodies, the cones are different giving the T100 more capacity.

Having only been to the site about three times, I'm probably not the best qualified to give an answer on future plans for 2926, but I can't resist a chance to promote the group. Operation is several years down the road, however, the State of New Mexico has purchased (or is in the process, I can't remember) some Santa Fe trackage, so they will concievably have a place to run. I've walked around the engine a couple times, crawled in the firebox, and am really impressed by its overall condition. The tender is nearing completion, and they are doing a remarkable job of assembling the shop equipment that they need. They have a SWEET South Bend lathe that I've made a couple parts on. I am amazed at the amount of progress they have made in such a short amount of time. What impresses me most, however, is the degree of professionalism the group projects. They have mandatory safety training for all members, they are networking with more experienced groups, and they are willing to ask for advice. It is one of the most professional volunteer groups I've ever encountered, and I've very proud to be a member of their organization.
