Those of us here in Wilkes-Barre, PA. are happy to hear that the Sad forlorn Vulcan locomotive that was part of the old RR. Motel complex along with the former Jersey Central Station are on the way to restoration.

The Vulcan, one of the few remaining diesel powered ones, is on the way to RMDI. A locomotive rebuilder in Coxton, PA. For restoration to running condition.

They have a copy of the plans for the loco they got from the RRMPA over the summer. Most of the drawings were in pretty good shape, considering they had been flooded during Agnes and survived a fire before going to Strasburg.
