Tennessee Coal & Iron #110 2-4-0 (H.K. Porter 7567/1944)

First of all; thanks to Ed Burger for an interesting and enjoyable brief on the Maggie Valley Railroad Memories.

During the portion of his trip to what is now Dollywood, he has a picture of Tennessee Coal & Iron #110 2-4-0 (H.K. Porter 7567/1944) on display there. It is my understanding that contrary to his Brief; it is no longer there.

Carey Holtsclaw posted the following note for this locomotive at steamlocomotive.info:

This Locomotive is No Longer at Dollywood. In 1986, The park removed it from display when the change from Silver Dollar City to Dollywood took place. I believe it can now be found at Cedar Point in Ohio.

It is my understanding that it is no longer at Cedar Point; I don't have it listed there either.

Michael Ledingham then posted the following theory:

Wes Barris' steamlocomotive.com lists a motorized Porter 2-4-0 at Fiesta in San Antonio, TX, with no information on build date or ownership history. Since Wes' site does not list another 2-4-0 that matches the description of this one, this one may be the one in Texas.

Does anyone know if that is the case? I don't list it at Fiesta Texas either; but I have not yet visited this location to confirm or deny it.

Can't rightly say whether it is on the Cedar Point & Lake Erie RR at the Cedar Point amusement park, near Sandusky, OH, however there is a nice unofficial CP&LE RR site at:

The roster pages dosn't include the TC&I 110 , as an engine that is there now or was there at sometime. They've got an interesting collection of narrow-gage iron there. When I worked there in the early 1970's, the engines were each a 1 man operation. You ran, fired, shoveled coal, filled the tender and hopefully didn't run out of any of the last three.

That is the location; it is interesting that that it is not listed in the roster. I wonder if the former roster is complete.

A sidenote: I noticed they lifted my picture of Ida P stored at the Patout family mill in Patoutville, LA; probably either from my old website or steamlocomotive.info.
