The UK has produced some truly outstanding railway artists with Don Breckon being my personal favourite. There's a website for the Guild of Railway Artists listing some of the current painters and examples of their work. It's nice to see some of the turn of the century paintings showing off the brilliant colours of the day when photos were only available in black and white. http://www.railart.co.uk/about.html |
