She sure is pretty. That's about as "plain Jane" of a Mexican locomotive that you will ever see. She looks nice without all the frills, adornments and fancy paint.

All of this of course, brings up the one NdeM 4-8-4 that escaped Mexico; number 3028. What's going on with HER these days?

Les,
I believe 3028 is still in the midst of a long-term restoration on the NH&I. One of the good folks from New Hope should be able to update you. I would enjoy seeing one of these small 4-8-4s operating again where she could stretch her legs a little with a nice sized train. Happy Thanksgiving.
