| Post subject: | Train order boards before electrification |
Have a friend of mine who has restored an old depot out in Kansas. He asked me about the older style train order boards that used oil lamps. He wondered if there were any photos showing railroad workers climbing up ladders to refill the oil in the containers. Anybody recall ever seeing such a photo? Thanks. Les |
