Yes, we lost both approaches to the steel span Nisqually river bridge. This is the new span, which was installed a few years ago when the river channel changed. If you've seen the Rock Train video, you know the bridge.

It's a 3 span bridge, but essentially one span was for the channel and 2 were approaches. The bridge got piled up with debris, made a sort of impromptu dam, and the river undercut both approaches.

Rumor has it that when the bridge is rebuilt all 3 spans will now be part of the main channel and two new approaches constructed, rather than restoring it to the narrower configuration. This would require two new piers, and additional spans, but sometimes it's best to just give the river what it wants... I guess the engineers will have the final say.
