Bob:

Is this the locomotive now displayed near the Amtrak station in Flagstaff?

Yes, displayed with a log flat and (I think) a caboose very near the depot.

Do not confuse this with the 2-6-6-2 #12 on display about a mile or so to the north.

Ah, yes, and for further confusion don't forget there are two depots as well; the original 1887 (?) stone depot to the east that was a freight station, then turned back to the town - that's where the loco is at - the original tracks to the freight depot spur. The current Amtrak station / welcome center is in the 1926 brick depot a block to the west that has the classic gables immortalized by Danbury Mint.

One of the Southwest Forest industries locos - a 2-8-0, not sure which one, ran very late into like 1968 and even did some excursions out of Flagstaff.
