Post subject:  SP 2248 in Grapevine

The SP 2248 a 4-6-0 in Grapevine has been under steam for the last two weekends and will be through Dec. 25. The SP 771 a 2-8-2 has been sitting were it was dumped off when it was moved from Victoria. One of the engineers that runs the 4-6-0 goes to the local train shows and said the SP 771 just got to be a bigger project then what could be handeled at this time. He said they had not really planned on running the SP 771 to the stockyards in Fort Worth , with the sharp radius but to Granbury were they use to run the SP 2248 on a few dinner trains.
