D&RGW 464 and Goose

At Dallas Divide, Colorado September 1946:

Can't tell which Goose, but they all still exist and two with the Wayne bus bodies still run, as does the 464. Pretty amazing 60 years later. Dallas Divide, of course, hasn't seen a train since 1953, when the Rio Grande Southern was scrapped.

Was Bob Richardson, founder of the Colorado RR Museum, still alive in his 90s, and a recent visitor to southwest Colorado narrow gauge sites this past summer...

The original Goose #1 does not exist, but a faithful replica was constructed and reisides at the rail museum in Ridgeway.

Goose #1 replica and D&RGW 0575 caboose are at the Ridgway Railroad Museum, SR 62, Ridgway, CO. (No 'e')

Vehicle in rear looks to be Goose #6, the "work goose"
