This 0-6-0 hasn't operated in a number of years, but it looked nice and authentic when it did, on the Lake Whatcom line here in 1981: http://rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=555535 |

And notice it has one of those Pyle-National switcher headlights (with optional numberboards and visor) that was discussed on this site not long ago. A nice little engine. |

He would love to return her to service, however the engine needs signifcant work. The railroad is a small operation in a fairly remot location. I have no idea at all what the financial status of the railroad is, but since they only run two days per week I would hazard a guess that the major steam restoration needed to comply with current FRA regs (new boiler tubes etc) isn't in the budget unless they got some kind of grant or other outside funding. |
