Apparently, this 4-6-0 was involved in a 1953 derailment at Scotia Bluff, California that killed the head end crew. Link to photos of the derailment are lower on the page. It appears to have had a Vanderbilt tender at the time, that was badly damaged. http://sunnyfortuna.com/railroad/bell.htm |
