Post subject:  Western Car & Equipment Co.

Has anyone ever heard of the Western Car And Equipment Co. of Winnipeg Manitoba? I have an old salesman sample of one of their inventions, and I'm hoping to learn more about it. The salesmans sample is an ingenious automatic coupler mechanism that connected all the trainlines through the coupler itself. The idea was way ahead of its time (1913),and had been tested on wooden flatcars. It was highly recomended by the engineers and train crews.Too bad it never went further.
