Nearing completion is interurban car No.305. Built in 1913 by St. Louis Car Co. for the Southern Traction, merged into Texas Electric in 1917, was in operation until 1948. The car belongs to the City of Corsicana, Texas and plans to display this car in the town square, which once had the interurban tracks looping around. This car was one of 22 cars ordered for Southern Traction, of the few that have survived this will be the only one restored back to its factory apperance, inside and out.
