Is there any news of the BM&R #425? I thought I'd heard awhile back that she's scheduled to operate either this or next year. I can't remember the source or its reliability. Anyone know anything? Seth

It has been confirmed by R&N employees that 425 is to restored. Progress to date or estimated completion date unknown.

The 425 is indeed under restoration at Port Clinton. We are currently ultra sound testing the boiler. So far most of the numbers are coming up pretty good. We are shooting for an October 2007 steam up. This of course depends on how much we find (in addition to the boiler) that needs repair. Wish us luck!
